Westerville, OH (PRWEB) May 4, 2010

Announced today, Babble Soft? has updated its Baby Insights Day Tracker? to include the new solid food and allergy tracker. With food allergies in children on the rise, this site enhancement helps parents uncover and manage their baby?s food allergies. Baby Insights Day Tracker is available to parents at http://www.babblesoft.com/babyfoodallergy.php.

?By daily tracking of baby?s food intake, and mom?s intake if she?s breastfeeding, parents can play an active role in identifying and managing food allergens,? says Nicole Johnson, CEO of Babble Soft. ?It?s important that parents be aware of allergy symptoms since young children may not be able to articulate how they feel after eating a certain food. Our site brings it all together with easy access.?

The Baby Insights Day Tracker helps parents stay on top of their baby?s health and communicate more productively with doctors and caregivers. With round-the-clock web and mobile access to this central tracking site, parents can log baby?s and mom?s daily food intake and reactions, plus other important schedule and milestone information. Parents can also access a summary analysis which is useful in reviewing and sharing the information.

Recent studies in the journal Pediatrics indicate that approximately 4% of kids have food allergies and self-reported food allergies increased 18% between 1997 and 2007.

A child can have a food allergy or sensitivity to any food, but the most common are wheat, eggs, soy, fish, milk and tree nuts. Severe symptoms can include hives, wheezing and swelling within 2 minutes to 2 hours. Less severe symptoms might include eczema, vomiting or diarrhea, runny nose and mood changes, night waking, frequent diaper rash or frequent spitting up.

About Babble Soft?

Babble Soft specializes in interactive online software and tools to help parent track their baby?s important activities and developmental milestones. Through its Baby Insights Day Tracker?, countless parents have been able to track breastfeeding and bottle-feeding schedules, solids, sleep periods, medication dosages, immunizations and diaper changes, making for an organized mom and happy baby.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 19, 2005

Everyone wants to feed their baby the best and most nutritious food possible, but how many of us have to the time to spend hours a day making our own baby food?

Until now there have been only two options when it comes to feeding your baby solid food: buy commercially jarred baby food that has been heat-treated to the point where it has lost most of its nutrients; or spend your precious free time cutting, blending and grinding your own homemade baby food.

Finally, there is an easy and convenient alternative for those ever-weary moms to feed their babies natural, nutritious and delicious baby food. Bohemian Baby? offers moms and babies a 40 item full menu of fresh organic baby food and delivers the food to their homes up to twice per week.

Port Orange, FL (PRWEB) August 16, 2011

In a downward spiraling economy, Toddler Tech USA, manufacturer of Dapper Snappers kids belts, a company started and operated by mamapreneur Michelle Cazella not only continues to thrive, but is also expanding, as she reaches out to help other mamapreneurs bring their products to market. ?I?ve seen first hand how hard it is, as a mom, to take on the challenge of bringing a product to life, funding it, manufacturing it, marketing it and selling it all while keeping the focus on my family. I decided that if there was a way that I could help other moms launch their product, I would!? Michelle Cazella.

It is a high priority of Michelle?s to create a community of support and encouragement for other mothers as they struggle to bring their own products and inventions to market. She remembers those beginning days, as she struggled to start her own business. ?Early on I found a lot of support from other mamapreneurs that helped point me in the right direction. If it wasn?t for them, I?m not sure where I?d be! Because of that, I?m passionate about helping other mamapreneurs who are just starting out in this business. I want to encourage them, help them navigate their way through the murky waters of starting a mom-owned business, and be a source of support for them as they learn to balance this juggling act of being a business owner, while not neglecting the importance of family and home life.? says Michelle.

It wasn?t long ago that Michelle, inventor of Dapper Snappers and founder of Toddler Tech USA, was sitting in her garage at a $ 250 sewing machine that she purchased off of Craigslist, surrounded by elastic, a workbench her husband had made, a snap press, and a good idea. ?I never in my wildest dreams imagined that Dapper Snappers would sell globally. Currently, we sell to over 200 children?s boutiques nationwide and 14 countries! It?s only been 3 years, and this business is bigger than I could have ever imagined. And it?s still growing!?

Her invention, the Dapper Snapper kids belt, was a practical solution to her ever-present dilemma about how to keep her skinny, active toddler?s pants from falling down. Her kids belt attaches to the back of a child?s pants, transforming any pair of pants into adjustable waist band. ?Dapper Snappers caught on quickly, and before we knew it they were selling like crazy!? It soon became a family affair as Michelle?s husband, Phil, quit his job and started working full-time to help keep up with company demands. They created a company called Toddler Tech USA to serve as the distributor of Dapper Snappers.

Toddler Tech USA is devoted to providing retailers and customers with products that are fun, fresh, and practical. ?Our products are matchless in the market, different, and inventive. We aim to supply children?s boutiques and small businesses with products that parents won?t be able to find in large chain, big box stores,? says Phil. ?Our goal is to provide parents with practical solutions to everyday problems with kid-friendly products that will be both useful and fun.?

Their first venture into distributing new products and helping other mamapreneuers, Toddler Tech USA is announcing the release of Snap-N-Step lace locks. Created by another mamapreneur, Nicole Carson, Snap-N-Step was invented as a solution for keeping her children?s shoelaces tied. ?Over the years I?ve tried everything to keep their shoelaces tied, yet nothing worked!,?says Nicole, ?Like so many parents, I was frustrated by constantly having to bend down to tie shoes in the most unfortunate places.? Her practical solution? Nicole Carson designed a product that snaps over a child?s shoelace, locking it in place and preventing laces from coming untied. Snap-N-Step appeals to parents for it?s practicality, and kids love the fun, fashionable choices of prints and colors.

As Toddler Tech USA continues to grow and take on new products, Michelle is dedicated to the values that were established at it?s very conception. With a focus on detail and attention to customer service, they continue to build on their history of being a trusted, reliable distributor that cares deeply about the quality of every product that they bring to the consumer. Tarzana, CA (PRWEB) August 13, 2010

Woodcest Preschool in Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills are ready to meet the needs of parents who are going back to work earlier than anticipated as a result of the downturn in the economy. More and more parents are putting children in preschool at a younger age to work for a family business, take on a job to help the family out, or search for work. Starting in January, there have been steady phone calls from parents interested in space for toddlers as young as 18 months, said Leslie Fredrick, director of Woodcrest Preschool in Agoura Hills. Seeing this trend in January, the company licensed rooms for toddlers to meet the needs of clients starting in September.

NACCRRA studies show factual accounts for the demand in infant and toddler care. Results are available at http://www.naccrra.org/policy/background_issues/infants-and-toddlers-need-quality-care.

There are approximately 12.6 million infants and toddlers in the United States.
Almost 75 percent of the infants and toddlers of working mothers are being cared for by someone other than their parent.
Infants and toddlers of working mothers spend an average of 35 hours a week in child care.
The supply of child care for infants and toddlers is not nearly enough to meet the needs of families.
Licensed care is less available for infants and toddlers than for older children.
Infant care is often the most difficult to find, and parents often face long waiting lists.

To learn more about Woodcrest Preschool’s toddler program, Woodcrest is hosting a Family Fun Day on August 21, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Family Fun Day will include a two-hour block featuring children making crafts, live entertainment, and opportunities to speak with directors.

About Woodcrest Preschool

Dental care for children is a different matter. While caring for a toddler’s teeth may seem unnecessary partly because their baby teeth will eventually be replaced with permanent teeth, the benefits that come with caring for a child’s teeth take fruit when they grow older. In addition to enhancing their smile, starting a healthy oral habit early increases the likelihood that the toddler will carry on this pattern well into adulthood.

Obviously, brushing and flossing is ideally started early in childhood. These prevent tooth decay, plaque, and periodontal diseases that may otherwise occur. This allows a child’s permanent teeth to develop properly and break out when they are supposed to. Therefore, the care and maintenance of a baby’s milk teeth should not be disregarded as there might be repercussions in the future.

Children around three years of age are generally advised to use toothpastes containing a fluoride level of at least 1000 parts per million (ppm).

One can usually find the level of fluoride contained in the toothpaste in the tube or package. From age three until adulthood, the child should use toothpaste that contains a fluoride level of 1300–1500ppm.

Parents should likewise supervise their children’s brushing. Only a small, pea–sized amount of toothpaste until about the age of seven should be used. Using a toothbrush designed for toddlers can also help. Consult your family dentist atlanta whether the toothbrush your child will be using is appropriate. This makes the brushing more fun for you and your child.

Children should be encouraged to brush at least three minutes, twice a day.

Even more important than simply brushing is the motion used while doing it. As your family dentist atlanta might suggest, a circular motion that makes contact with the tooth’s surface promotes the development of healthy teeth and gums. If you have problems making your child brush, you can make it into a game. For instance, you can put an egg timer in front or a stop clock while your child is brushing.

As your child becomes accustomed to the act of brushing, you child will eventually no longer need your assistance. However, it is best to supervise your child until he understands the whole process. Other things you can do to promote good dental care for your child is to regulate sugary and sweet food which often leads to cavities and plaque. Of course, visits to the family dentist atlanta at least twice a year are recommended.

Though it is not something that is commonly heard of, there are many grandparents that are devoting their time to raising their grandchildren. There are any numbers of reasons why this may happen. Parents may become ill or deceased or leave with the military. Whatever the reason is, many grandparents are struggling to take over this role. It isn’t easy going from retirement to taking children to school while trying to keep the household running. There are now many support systems available for these grandparents because so many are struggling. There are places that you can turn if you are raising your grandkids.

According to a national census that was taken in the year 2000, more than two and a half million families were led by grandparents. That is an astounding number. It seems that more grandparents are currently raising children than we realize. This can’t be easy especially in an unpredictable economy that is making times hard for everyone. This is something that communities and local support systems must make a point to address.

          ]]>

It will come as good news to some grandparents to learn that there are many helpful sites that are dedicated to making life easier for grandparents that struggle to raise children. RaisingYourGrandchildren.com has so many great resources for grandparents. From medical issues to personal ones, there are plenty of links designed to get you the information that you need. Read through this site carefully to see how they can help you. There are several programs listed that will help you to find financial aid or medical assistance. If you have special circumstances, get in touch with someone who can answer questions for you.

Things like daycare can become a problem too. It’s important for you to know that there are programs you can apply for to get daycare subsidy. What you are taking on is already hard enough. There is no need for you to handle it all alone. It simply isn’t realistic to support children on a pension or other fixed income. Seek out government resources for your state to see how they can help you. You might be surprised with how many options you really have.

In many cases, children may require special care from doctors or social workers. Kids can’t always deal with the absence of parents. Know that there are ways to get them the help that they so desperately need. You should never have to feel like everything is up to you. Children are important and there are many organizations that devote their work to making life easier for them.

Don’t forget to take care of yourself. If you do not stay in great mental and physical shape, you won’t be able to help the kids. Never neglect your own health no matter what. Those children rely on you and that means they need you to be in the best shape possible. Of course the kids may be your priority but you need to come first sometimes too. Speak to those who can help you and don’t feel that you have to do it alone.
